y name is Ayla -which is said like the Eric Clapton song but without the L and the amazing riff. I prefer to go by AJ though as it's just easier to say and i don't have to explain the pronounciation of it. I am currently a student at the University of Wales, Newport, studying reading English With Creative Writing.
I'm 19 Earth years old, or 80 Mercurian years, or 10 Martian years...or even 1 Jovian year old! And I'm practically not even born yet on Pluto - not that that's a planet. Poor Pluto - for 76 years it was a planet (but barely a year by its own standards) - and now it's just a dwarf planet in the Kupier belt.
Where was I? Oh yes, as you can tell I'm interested in Astronomy and also inane enough to work out how long Pluto was a planet by its own years. I'm also what you would call a gamer (but not a girl gamer!) and enjoy nice girly games like Unreal Tournament . What can I say? You can't beat the sound of a HEADSHOT! (yes I'm a sniper... but the minigun comes a close second.) I also love the game Portal, and I play Team Fortress 2 more than is strictly healthy.
You could say that I'm a bit of a tomboy. I perfer gaming to makeup, nerdy t-shirts to pink ones, tattoos to gossip (not that I've got any - yet) and choppers to shoes. This could, however, be due to the fact I grew up with four brothers
I have a wonderful fiancé who I love more than anything. He's also in the University of Wales, Newport, doing a course on AI and gaming, and I couldn't do without him.
Now, before I start getting sappy and emotional, I should stop. The only thing left to say is: I hope you enjoy my work, and hopefully you'll like it so much that you'll buy my books when I get published.
